Virulite has announced that it has completed clinical trials and awaiting FDA clearance to launch its innovative cold sore treatment device in the US.
Successfully used in the UK, the portable device uses near-infrared light to cut the healing time of sold sores by approximately half. Taking 10 years to develop, the device has been proven in independent clinical trials and is approved by the British National Health Service.
The company has recently conducted a market test through Walgreen’s, where it outsold all competing cold sore remedies.
